Service Description

5 Week Session **WELCOME YOUR DOG TO THE ABC's OF ODOR!** Requirement -Must have completed at least a basic obedience course. This class is for: - High drive and energetic dogs - Dogs that need and love a job - Helps with on and off-leash skills while working with owner - Builds and strengthens bond between dog and owner - Must have completed at least a basic obedience class - Odors used in these types of classes are recognized by AKC for competitions BEGINNERS SCENT WORK: Includes: - You and your K9 will begin to learn the first two of four scents: Birch (Betula Lenta), Anise (Pimpinella Anisum) - This is an introductory class that teaches you and your dog to work as a team. You will be educated on the neuroscience and the scent capability of your K9 partner. - You will be taught to recognize the difference between aggressive alert and passive alert, as well as your dog will be searching containers, rooms, scent wall searches, outdoor searches and car searches. *This class has the ability to bring out a dog's personality, heighten their drives and allow the dog to work independently as well as with its owner. *The highest of praise and positive reinforcement are essential to the success of this class.
